PHOTOGRAPHING THE CHOIR
We have always tried to get away from the traditional photographs of choirs standing in rows and looking identical. Since 2005 we have worked closely with local photographer Richard Pearce to explore different ways of photographing a large group of singers. Many of Richard's photographs appear on this website.
We are hoping soon to embark on the next stage of this project which will involve some aerial shots near the Cathedral, and an innovative "live action" inhabitation of part of the city centre. We will be trying to raise some funding for this which will hopefully result in an exhibition of the photographs. Watch this space for more news!"
