TO BOOK THE CHOIR
WorldSong is available to perform at a wide range of functions and venues. We can provide a choir of up to 60 singers, or something a little smaller (say, 12 to 20 singers).
We have an extensive repertoire of over 170 songs from the world music tradition and can be an integral part of any event, offering a set ranging from 20 minutes to an entire evening.
We offer an unusual alternative for weddings (e.g. South African wedding songs, traditional Georgian church marriage anthems), parties and even funerals (e.g. spirituals, Eastern European laments). Please note that we do not sing songs from the typical Western classical canon.
WorldSong can be booked at a fee to suit you. Performances can be arranged around a specific theme if given sufficient notice; for example, an African evening, Christmas songs, church songs from different cultures, a gospel and spiritual evening, audience participation, etc. Why not contact us to check our availability? We usually need to plan around 6 months in advance as we get booked up very quickly!
